FEBRUARY 2012 |
Frozen February. I am writing this from England, sitting in an apartment on the South coast. The sky is deeply grey, the sea is the colour of slate, there is snow in the air, temperature is minus 10 and daytime television is educating me in the mysteries of ladies problems. I am going to need (more) psychiatric help. |
Of course the reason for being here has been the birth of Jill’s first grandchild (obviously I am not old enough to have one). Olivia Susanne arrived at 14.28hr on Saturday 28 January; weight 8 pounds and eleven ounces. She is naturally perfect with little dark hair and at the moment dark eyes. She is feeding well, sleeping at the right times and is being doted on by her parents. |
| Have you read 'Bouncing Back' by Rick O'Shea. It´s very good. |
This month’s Nature Notes: One morning efore reakfas, I was walking under a rilliant lue sky, when I saw a eautiful ird flitting etween the trees. I took note of its old and vivid colours, the size of its ill and its ehaviour. Later over coffee and iscuits I consulted a ird look and elieve I identified the ird as a bee eater. I think it has een feeding from my lap top, the ugger. |
| We hope to return to Portugal end of Feb, and hope many of you have similar plans for this year. Take care everyone............. Andy. |
