There are many things to do in the surrounding area. Visit one of the interesting museums or go to the ZOO with the children. The naturist beaches are spectacular. These are some examples for a cultural or relaxing day out.
Praia do Malhão is a beautiful sandy beach for naturists. It has water flowing from the dunes for a refreshing shower.
Praia do Salto is a cozy, naturist beach between the rocks. The waves are broken by rocks and it is therefore calm swimming.
Praia do Monte Velho is a vast, very quiet, clean and sandy dune beach. It is ideally suited for hours of naturist walks.
The campsite is located on the outskirts of the hamlet Foros do Barão, where the population still lives from their own land and animals. Here they make goats cheese, grow oranges and other fruit, keep black pigs and goats, peel cork, hunt boar and make wine and olive oil. There are many beautiful and interesting towns to visit or cities with Roman and Moorish influences such as Évora or the fairytale-like Sintra. Lisbon is well worth visiting and you can visit the many local markets and "Festas".
The rolling landscape is ideal for walking and cycling and hosts a variety of plants, trees and animals. The rugged Costa Azul are clean and unpolluted and there are quiet naturist beaches at only 30 km from the site. On our terrain live many colorful birds and animals. We spot the golden orioles, storks and the hoopoes regularly. From February or March the terrain is like a colourful sea of flowers.
For the children
Badoca Zoo is a safari parc with many (exotic) animals. The old mining town of "Minas do Lousal" is interesting to visit. It has a museum about the lives and work of the people. We also organize excursions e.g. to a modern dairy farm.
Supermarkets & shops
There are shops on 8 km distance. There is a good train connection to Ermidas-Sado from Lisbon and Faro.
